• Amontons (was there really a scientific reason to give such an insignificant little craterlet an official IAU name?).

• Catena Lubbock H (an unofficial name from D.Caes for an odd rille-shaped chain of depressions slightly north of Lubbock H, see also AS11-42-6309).
• Central Mare Fecunditatis Pit (an unofficial name for a small skylight immediately east of the bowl-shaped crater Messier B, see LROC Article Mare Pit Topography!).
• Chang'e 1 (impacted on March 1, 2009, according to Wikipedia's mentioned coordinates at or near Dorsa Geikie near the upper right corner of Chart 48).
• Cometicus (F.v.P.Gruithuisen's disallowed name for the "comet tail" west of the pair Messier / Messier A) (see pages 112-113 in E.A.Whitaker's Mapping and Naming the Moon).

Ghost craters abound in Mare Fecunditatis

• To explorers and observers of so-called "lunar ghost craters", this part of Mare Fecunditatis (Map 48) is probably the most interesting region to look for them. Antonin Rukl's original map shows an abundance of unnamed (and also of officially lettered) "ghost craters".- DannyCaes Nov 20, 2008

Farman and Kinet near Lindbergh (group of aviators)

• The dedicated Moon-Wiki contributor Danny Caes would like to see two small craters near Lindbergh officially known as Farman (Henri Farman, 1874-1958, Anglo-French pilot, aviator, aircraft designer), and Kinet (Daniel Kinet, 1884-1910, the first victim in the Belgian history of motorized aviation).
