LO-I-025M Nobili is to the left of center, overlaying the slightly larger Schubert X to its east. The deeply-shadowed 18-km circular crater below Nobili is Gilbert F. 33-km Weierstrass is partially visible in the lower right.

- In Apollo 16's oblique northward looking Fairchild camera frame AS16-M-0787 (REV 27) one could see the dark floor and bright central peak of Nobili near the frame's centre.
- In AS16-M-1351 (REV 37) it (Nobili) is a bit nearer to the camera than in the above mentioned frame 0787.
