Nearside Named Features

  • Armenter (a disallowed name from H.P.Wilkins for a crater in J.H.Madler's Montes Hercynii).
  • Balboa
  • Bartels (seems to have been called Caramuel by H.P.Wilkins).
  • Briggs
  • Briggs Arc (an unofficial name from D.Caes for the arc-shaped wrinkle ridge northwest, north, northeast, and east of Briggs and Briggs B).
  • Briggs Eta (hillock northwest of Briggs B), Briggs Xi (hillock southeast of Briggs C) (see chart SLC F3) (System of Lunar Craters, 1966).
  • Catena Krafft
  • Dalton
  • Dorsum Seleucus (an unofficial name from D.Caes for the wrinkle ridge north of Seleucus).
  • Eddington
  • Eddington Alpha (hill in the southern part of Eddington's ruined rim) (see chart SLC F3) (System of Lunar Craters, 1966).
  • Einstein
  • Hercynian Mountains/ Montes Hercynii (discontinued IAU names).
  • Krafft
  • Littus Eclipticum (Riccioli's discontinued name for the limb region of Chart 17) (the exact pinpoint locations of the northern and southern boundaries of this region are uncertain or not known) (Van Langren called it Littus Philippicum).
  • Luna 13 (soft-landed on December 24, 1966, southeast of Seleucus).
  • Oceanus Procellarum (the west-northwestern part of it, occupying the right half of Chart 17).
  • Rodés (a disallowed name from H.P.Wilkins for a crater between Bartels and Struve).
  • Russell
  • Seleucus (Van Langren's Sfondrati, J.Hewelcke's Mons Pentadactylus).
  • Seleucus Ray (C.A.Wood's informal name for the high-albedo ray which runs alongside Seleucus).
  • Struve
  • Two arcs (a nickname from D.Caes for Eddington P on the eastern part of Eddington's floor) (the same kind of two arcs are seen in Rimae Hippalus on Chart 53).
  • Voskresenskiy

Farside Named Features

(The following features are not formally included in the present Rükl rectangle, but they are adjacent to it and their centers are less than 10° beyond the mean limb -- so they may be seen here in whole or in part with a favorable libration)
