LO-IV-172H All but a part of the east rim of Piazzi is visible (to the right of center) in this Lunar Orbiter view showing the intricate overlay of ejecta from nearby Mare Orientale. In the upper left, the broad, faint arc of the southeast rim of Legendre can be vaguely seen. And near the south rim of Piazzi, the 20-km crater with the central peaks is Piazzi P. Several smaller lettered craters associated with Piazzi and Legendre can also be seen.
