- Apollo 16's Mapping/Metric Fairchild photographs AS16-M-0004 (89 msec exposure) is perhaps the best example of an orbital image showing reflected light inside a high albedo crater. The craterlet in question is in the eastern inner wall of Zhukovskiy W at approximately 9°30' North/ 170°20' West. Zoom in on the grey-looking craterlet inside the larger shadowed crater near the photograph's upper left corner, and observe that craterlet's "opposite illuminated" inner slope and floor! The effect can also be seen in the shorter exposure AS16-M-0007 (35 msec). See also LAC 68 (page 136) in the Clementine Atlas. Research Danny Caes.
