Nomenclature
- Named for Hendrik Anthony Kramers (February 2, 1894 – April 24, 1952), a Dutch physicist. Niels Bohr took him on as a PhD student and Kramers prepared his dissertation under Bohr's direction (on intensities of atomic transitions).
- This name entered the IAU nomenclature in Menzel, 1971.
