Description

This once-named protrusion of Mare Imbrium into the Carpathian Mountains to the north-west of Gay-Lussac is no longer part of the IAU Nomenclature. Secondary craters, presumably from nearby Copernicus, litter the area, including the tadpole-like one in the sinus.
