  • At 145:58:02 GET in the mission of Apollo 17, Gene Cernan and Jack Schmitt were on their way to Victory crater, leaving Station 4 at Shorty crater. During this 1200 meter drive on the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) Jack Schmitt took 13 B-and-W Hasselblad frames which show Victory near the horizon (frames AS17-133-20268 to 20280). Because all of these frames were made during eastward upsun conditions, most of them show too much the sun's disturbing glare.
  • Bob Fry's assembled panorama of Jack Schmitt's series of photographs made during Gene Cernan's turn of the Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) in a tight circle near Victory crater. The rightward portion of this panorama shows the V-shaped depression of Victory (assembled from B-and-W Hasselblad frames AS17-133-20281 to 20300, made at 146:07:51 GET) (see APOLLO 17 page Traverse to Station 5).
