Nomenclature
- Sisir Kumar; Indian physicist (1890-1963).
- On saturday the 13th of june 2009, the investigator of curious moonmaps and lunar nomenclature gazetteers (Danny Caes) discovered the rare name "L'Hospital" (N° 460) in the gazetteer of the Second Complete Moon Map, 1969 of the Sternberg Astronomy Institute. The name "L'Hospital" is, according to this moonmap located at the crater officially known as Mitra A (immediately north of Mitra itself).
The origin of the name "L'Hospital" is unknown, and needs further investigation.
