While on the moon in July 1969, CDR Neil Armstrong of APOLLO 11 made several Hasselblad photographs of Little West.
See:
AS11-40-5954 Note the dark boulder in the distance, just below the horizon. It's interesting to try to get the pinpoint location of that boulder on the High-Resolution NAC frames from the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (see the online LROC Act-React Quick Map). Imagine the location of the landing site of LM Eagle nearby that boulder... the excursion of both CDR Neil Armstrong and LMP Edwin Aldrin could have been a lot more interesting! Direct confrontation with one of the large lunar boulders! (something which happened during the missions of APOLLO 14, APOLLO 16, and APOLLO 17).
