Grigg

Additional Information

- On page 141 (the airbrushed chart of LAC 70) in B.Bussey's and P.Spudis's Clementine Atlas, it looks as if Grigg is located at the east-northeastern part of the rim of a much larger (unnamed) crater. It would be interesting to try to search low-sun illuminated Lunar Orbiter photographs which show the region immediately west of Grigg, to see if there is indeed a larger crater nearby. Grigg P's location should be at the south-southeastern part of this crater.- DannyCaes DannyCaes May 15, 2011
- Nothing of this possible large crater is seen on the Hallwag farside map. The Reidel-Dordrecht farside map (made by Antonin Rukl) also shows nothing.
