AS16-P-5507, which is the first panoramic ITEK-camera frame of Apollo 16's Magazine "T.E." (Trans Earth Coast) shows crater Deutsch between the frame's centre and right margin (near the moon's limb at right).
Deutsch was also captured near the central part of the right margin of Apollo 16's Fairchild-camera frame AS16-M-3000, which was also made during Trans Earth Coast.

Nomenclature

Armin Joseph Deutsch (1918–1969) was an American astronomer and a science fiction writer. He is noted for the concept of Doppler tomography.
