Description
On radar images of the Moon features that have many angular or rough surfaces are bright. Thus, craters that are radar bright are likely to be young and to be littered with rocks that bounce the radar energy back toward Earth. I have listed radar bright craters from Lunar & Venusian Radar Bright Rings (1986) Earth, Moon & Planets 36, 167-185. I have also identified additional radar bright craters in the southern hemisphere on this image.
