A valley is noticeable south of Niepce and southeast of Niepce F, which is unofficially called Vallis Niepce by D.Caes.
Could we call the curious bottle-shaped depression near Niepce's southwestern rim also a valley, or is it an oblique impact crater?
Nomenclature
Joseph Nicéphore Niepce (March 7, 1765 – July 5, 1833) was a French inventor, most noted as a pioneer in photography. He began experimenting with processes to set optical images in 1793. Starting in 1829 he began collaborating on improved photographic processes with Louis Daguerre. Together Louis Daguerre and Niépce developed a process called Physautotype that involved lavender oil.
