Description
This two-sheet map (in two versions, contours and color-coding topo), with contours derived by stereo mapping of Earth-based photos, is available on the LPI website. The map is particularly valuable for providing a view of the IAU lunar nomenclature prior to most of the many changes that began to be made in the early 1960's. The Feature Names list is essentially a tabulation of original [/IAU%20Nomenclature IAU Nomenclature] giving the feature numbers in [/Blagg%20and%20M%C3%BCller Blagg and Müller], and in Blagg's earlier [/Collated%20List Collated List]. But be aware that there are a small number of errors in the list.
