The Landing Site Name "Shorty" is plotted on Topophotomap 43D1/S1 and Site Traverses chart 43D1S2.
- Shorty (crater) - "Recognizing Richard Brautigan's collection of short stories, Trout Fishing in America, and other books which bring the literature of youth and life from the foundations of Salinger into the present."
