Nomenclature
- Johann Georg; Austrian astronomer (1847-1930).
- On page 263 of the Clementine Atlas of the Moon (Bussey/ Spudis), it (the name Hagen) was erroneously printed as "Hagan". The crater which is officially called Hagen by the IAU seems to be called "Hagan C" in the atlas. Only the names of the satellite craters (of Hagen itself) were printed. The "parent crater" called Hagen seems to be "forgotten" during pre-press activities.- DannyCaes Jul 3, 2010
