Description
Bronk lies some 1000 km away north of the Hertzsprung Basin's, and roughly twice that distance north-westwards of the Orientale Basin -- both events of which have altered the crater's appearance we see today. Except for a small sector in Bronk's southwest rim, nearly all of its remaining parts has been re-shaped by minor impacts, landslides -- particularly seen, moreso, in the eastern sector where a crater, roughly, a third the diameter of Bronk has totally wiped out any semblence of a rim that once existed there. The floor of the crater is very irregular -- filled, no doupth, by material from these impacts and landslides, but also by ejecta deposits from the Hertsprung Basin, in particular, nearby. Overall, the crater is well worn though age, and must ave seen better days in is early lifetime.- JohnMoore2 JohnMoore2

Nomenclature
- Detlev Wulf Bronk; American neurophysiologist (1897-1975).
- The name Bronk is absent on the Reidel-Dordrecht farside map made by Antonin Rukl, and also on the Hallwag farside map.- DannyCaes May 15, 2011
- Thanks to lunar crater nomenclature, one could learn something about (for example) The Bronx. It seems that the lunar crater name Bronk and The Bronx are related! - DannyCaes Aug 22, 2015
