Description
Two map-based indices to nearside features in the the-Moon Wiki are currently under development: one using the Rükl system of dividing the Earth-facing hemisphere, and the other using the layout of Chuck Wood's proposed Observer's Photographic Atlas of the Moon. In both cases, the maps are constructed with the freeware LTVT software using lunar images collected from the internet as the background texture on which names are superimposed. These images have been used for this purpose without the explicit permission of the photographers. None of the maps can be used for any purpose other than personal viewing without obtaining that permission. Likewise, if any of the photographers object to the use of their images for contructing the-Moon Wiki nomenclature maps, they should contact the Wiki editors, and the offending maps will be removed.
The name of the texture file used to produce each image is listed at the bottom. Many files were used repeatedly. In general only a small part of each image is used for a particular map.
The following table gives the source of each texture files, identifies its author, and provides a link to the page from which it was downloaded.

Removing and Adding Files
Anyone objecting to the use of their photograph as a background texture for the present lunar maps should send an e-mail to Jim Mosher. The maps using their photo will be promptly removed and replaced with a map using a different photo for the texture.
Likewise, please contact Jim if you have or know of a better internet-accessible photo covering a map zone. That photo can then be used to replace or supplement the current one.
Additional notes and unofficial nomenclature
Most of the additional notes and unofficial names in the descriptions below the 76 maps are from Danny Caes. These names are included bold black (the official IAU names are blue colored and clickable, to explore individual wikispaces-pages).
