LO-IV-184H The named satellite features of Fraunhofer visible in this view are the irregular 24-km Fraunhofer V on the east rim, 11-km Fraunhofer G above that, and 6-km Fraunhofer X by itself to the east (near the right margin). The dark shadow in the extreme lower right is the northwest rim of 43-km Fraunhofer H.
(IAU Directions) FRAUNHOFER.--A ring-plain, S. of Furnerius, about 30 miles in diameter, with a regular border rising about 5,000 feet above the floor. A smaller ring-plain abuts on the N.W. side of it, which has slightly disturbed its wall.
