(no Wikipedia page for Apollo 14's Triplet).

Additional Information

Nomenclature

  • Astronaut-named feature, Apollo 14 site.
  • It is unclear if the IAU adopted individual names for the three components of Triplet crater. In the explanation of the name in IAU Transactions XVIB it appears they should be refered to as "North Triplet", "Center Triplet" and "South Triplet".
  • Also known as North Crater, Center Crater, and South-Apollo Crater (because there's already a crater officially known as South on a totally different part of the moon).
