  • A fresh high-albedo raycraterlet immedialety east of Stein (at exactly 7°50' North/ 177°15' West) was photographed by the Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter (as a magnificent Close Up!). See LPOD Lunar Poppy. It (this remarkable bright raycraterlet and its ejectablanket) is also noticeable on page 136 (LAC 68) in the Clementine Atlas of the Moon. - DannyCaes DannyCaes May 18, 2010
  • According to David Woods and his colleagues, of the Apollo 11 Flight Journal, Apollo 11's orbital Hasselblad frame AS11-43-6396 should show satellite craters Stein K and Stein L.
