Eliza T. Rima Hesiodus runs nearly vertically through this view, slightly to the left of center. The craters in the lower left are [/Campanus Campanus] and [/Mercator Mercator] with the shadow-casting [/Rupes%20Mercator Rupes Mercator] running to the upper right from it towards the deeply shadowed [/Cichus Cichus]. North is to the upper left. Rima Hesiodus has a deeply shadowed section above [/Rupes%20Mercator Rupes Mercator] and a fainter extension below it.
