Rimae Ritter

Additional Information

Nomenclature

  • Named after nearby crater. (Ritter)
  • The original IAU nomenclature of Blagg and Müller included five Roman-numeralled rilles named after Ritter. The modern name Rimae Ritter is probably meant to include most of these.
  • Nothing of it (the name Rimae Ritter) on chart 57 in the Times Atlas of the Moon.
