Bibliography

Erwin Freundlich in the Sourcebook Project (William R. Corliss)

- In Mysterious Universe, a handbook of astronomical anomalies (1979) :
  • Page 69: The Mythical Planet Vulcan (Science, 1932). Note: in this article, a certain Dr. H. von Kluber of the Astrophysical Observatory at Potsdam is driving a new nail into the coffin of the mythical planet Vulcan, after investigating several photographs of the Total Solar Eclipse of May 1929, made by Professor Erwin Freundlich in Sumatra. In other words, there is no such thing as an Intramercurial planet, or... perhaps an extremely small object the size of a comet's nucleus or tiny asteroid.
  • Page 672: The Deflection of Light in the Sun's Gravitational Field (Robert J. Trumpler, Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific, 1932). Note: also in this article, both Freundlich and von Kluber are mentioned.
  • Page 674: The Einstein Shift - An Unsettled Problem (F.Schmeidler, Sky and Telescope, 1964). Note: here too; both Freundlich and von Kluber are mentioned. I wonder if von Kluber is mentioned in the Wikipedia page of Erwin Freundlich.
